World of Warcraft Rare Spawns

A rare spawn with his own flying machine! Fumblub Gearwind, Level 71 Elite Rare Spawn in Borean Tundra. My luck with the rare spawns over the few days has been pretty phenomenal, maybe it's time to head to the storm peaks and seek out that elusive Time-Lost Proto Drake? Loot was [ Flumblub's Seat Cushion of the Marksmen ], a fantastic item for the hunter I am currently levelling! Oh, and the satchel, as usual. 

My second kill on Aotona, a Level 75 Elite Rare Spawn in Sholazar Basin. This mob is by no means elite in the usual sense. As you can see in the screen shot, whilst fighting the oversized parrot I accidentality aggro'ed an emperor cobra and I'm pretty sure the snake did me more damage than the giant bird. Even mages and rogues could solo this one (haha).  Dropped a very nice DPS plate wrist and the usual satchel. 

Killed this guy again on my Death Knight, this time he was right by the Amphitheater of Anguish. I was doing the Argent Crusade reputation daily quest to collect the medallions from the dead trolls and he just walked right over to me. He dropped a pretty awesome pair of plate legs, [ Eternal Observer's Legplates of the Champion ] and the usual satchel.

Sholazar Basin is so heavily camped by miners and herbalists that I really didn't think I would get a shot at this guy. These days I only really play my druid to grind herbs and make potions so I am really out of practice with it. The first time I fought him he actually killed me and I had to corpse run all the way back before someone else got him. As you can see from the screen shot, he almost got me the second time too. Should have used bear form. Loot: [Abandoned Adventurers Satchel] and the blue quality [ King's Eyesocket of the Sorcerer ]
